Douglas Mullins is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Immediately after college, he embarked on a career as an officer in the United States Air Force with a focus on Human Resources. Over the next 25 years, he served in various positions worldwide, culminating as a senior officer at the Pentagon. Upon retiring as a full Colonel from the Air Force in 2014, Doug and his family decided to relocate to Pensacola. Shortly after arriving, he was hired by a local credit union and subsequently promoted to an executive position in Human Resources.
Doug also holds a Master of Arts degree in Information Systems Management from Webster University and certifications from both HRCI and SHRM.
As the in-house HR Consultant at Torgersen Causey, Doug’s role is to help clients with complex HR issues, compliance and major training initiatives. His exceptional experience in the HR field is a major asset for Torgersen Causey and their clients.
He is active in the community as a Board Member for Greater Pensacola SHRM and Pathways for Change, and as a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement. Doug resides in Cantonment with his wife and son.
